Astrid has been singing barbershop for about 5 years. Before she joined Chiltern Harmony she had sung in various classical choirs including the Royal Choral Society (based at the Royal Albert Hall), and also performed as a soloist at weddings, funerals and functions of various kinds.
Astrid spent her childhood in Wales and therefore had a very musical upbringing - competing and winning prizes in local and national eisteddfods. She lives in Amersham with her husband, two step-children and a spoilt dog!
