Chiltern Harmony always welcomes new members. The Chorus has nearly 30 members and is growing steadily.

If so, come and visit us at our rehearsals on a Tuesday evening to hear our style of singing and meet our members, or fill in the enquiry form.

 

The ability to read music is not essential as we provide teach CD's to help you to learn your part and to help you get used to singing with the other parts. We ask that you sing in tune, are willing to learn and have fun!

 

We sing a wide variety of styles of music from Cole Porter to Elvis! They are all sung a cappella (unaccompanied) in four parts with three voices, bass, tenor and baritone harmonising around the melody (lead).

 

The weekly rehearsals comprise of exercises to improve tonal quality, synchronisation and breathing as well as working on refining the current repertoire of songs.
